What do I get as an AgSafe Member?

As a professional development organization, AgSafe is dedicated to the advancement of high professional standards related to agricultural health, safety and human resources.

In addition, membership in AgSafe immediately connects you with a broad network of other safety professionals who can lend their experience and knowledge to the most difficult health, safety and human resource related issues.

Lastly, active involvement in AgSafe ensures the viability and strengthening of California’s
agriculture industry through continued development of its health, safety and human resources professionals.


Membership Details:

Individual

Any person having direct and active interest in agricultural health, safety and human resources and who supports the purpose of AgSafe should join. Individual members will receive discounts to the AgSafe Annual Conference, the California Agricultural Safety Certificate Program and other AgSafe sponsored events as well as the AgSafe Membership Directory and Insight, the AgSafe newsletter.

Company
Any business who supports the purposes of AgSafe should be a company member. Company members and up to five representatives will be listed in the AgSafe Membership Directory. All employees of company members may receive discounts to the AgSafe Annual Conference, California Agricultural Safety Certificate Program, and other AgSafe sponsored events as well as the AgSafe Membership Directory and Insight, the AgSafe newsletter.

Member Resources and Activities

ANNUAL CONFERENCE
AgSafe offers a dynamic and comprehensive annual conference featuring professional development seminars, training workshops, keynote speakers, a reception and networking with fellow health, safety, and human resources professionals.

CALIFORNIA AGRICULTURAL SAFETY CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
The California Agricultural Safety Certificate Program is helping to set the standard in safety excellence for California’s agricultural industry. The program provides twenty hours of professional development training in health, safety and human resources. The courses include: Safety Laws and Regulations, 
Developing and Maintaining an Effective IIPP, Hazard Identification and Control, Effective Safety Training, Roundtable Discussion Session, and four elective hours of training. Graduates of the program are honored at the AgSafe Annual Conference.

NEWSLETTER
AgSafe publishes Insight a newsletter that provides information about current safety issues, legislative and regulatory changes, a calendar of events, and news about AgSafe activities and members.

REGIONAL MEETINGS
Educational and training sessions designed to promote professional development are held at regional locations throughout the state.

RESOURCE MATERIALS
AgSafe cooperates with other organizations to promote the sharing of valuable safety resource materials, such as training guides, videos, names of consultants, newsletters and other resource materials. Visit www.agsafe.org
