All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Safety: Train-the-Trainer
This course is designed to provide supervisors, foremen, and safety personnel with the knowledge and tools necessary to effectively train employees on the safe operation of ATVs.
Topics Include:
- Regulatory requirements
- Safety aspects of ATV operation and implements
- Proper maintenance of equipment
Participants will discuss effective training techniques and test their skills by operating ATVs on site.
*Participants must have at least 5 years of ATV operation experience in order to operate the machinery and receive a certificate of completion for the course.

HUMAN RESOURCES AND LABOR RELATIONS TRAININGS
Agricultural Laws and Regulations for Growers and Farm Labor Contractors (FLCs)
All topics will be covered for both novice and advanced growers and FLCs at a level that is appropriate
for their experience. This course meets the California DLSE 9-hours of continuing education requirement
for FLC licensing.

This Sexual Harassment Prevention course meets the California requirements of AB 1825 and AB 2053,
and includes the following topics:

- Prohibition, prevention, correction, and remedies of sexual harassment and abusive conduct in the workplace
- Identifying different kinds of sexual harassment, discrimination, and abusive conduct

Supervisor Enrichment Series: BEST - Building Empowered Supervisors Together
The need for impactful supervisors is a constant struggle for the food and farming industries. Years of
experience benefit a supervisor in developing skills that are pertinent to their job, such as learning laws
and regulations and company policies. However, often overlooked components of being a successful and
empowered supervisor are skills not taught in a book. Rather, these abilities require personal interaction, time and coaching to develop. The BEST Program will provide supervisors a foundation to cultivate those essential skills to further their success and that of your business.
10-12 session program
- Adjustable program scheduling
- Program addresses leadership, communication, conflict resolution, planning, and team building
- Emphasis on building peer-to-peer relationships
- Uses baseline and longitudinal evaluations to measure results for individuals and the company

This course is designed specifically for individuals responsible for training pesticide handlers and fieldworkers under the Worker Protection Standard (WPS).

- Pesticide exposure, signs and symptoms of illness, emergency medical care, proper use of personal protective equipment, safe handling and transportation of pesticides, and laws and regulations regarding labels and safety data sheets
- Participants will learn effective training techniques
